A person of profound or extensive learning; learned scholar. It can also mean that “Savant” can guide others to a better life. SaVant can do so by helping them to learn to help themselves. This is the best way to help anybody, by making them stand on their own feet, helping them to unveil their own potential and value.

Food for Life Programs

SaVant Foundation believes that providing free meals to needy people is of utmost importance. SaVant Foundation plans to do this on a regular basis to thousands who need help.

Medical Program

SaVant Foundation will look into improving the lives of people and may help to source medical facilities for the needy. This will also include prescriptions and hospitalization for people who cannot afford to pay such as Street Children / Teenager-Child Labourers: Millions of children in the Philippines are forced to beg on the streets and to do work that is unsuitable for their age, to supplement their family’s income. This is a sad and depressing waste of their untapped potential. SaVant Foundation, with your help, will make every possible effort to remove these sorts of practices with the help of the central and state Governments.

Teenage-Child Labour

Millions of children in the Philippines are found begging on streets or are working to supplement their family’s income. Many also just try to sustain themselves or simply because they have no access to schools. This is compromising on their present and forging themselves an uncertain future. Many of these children and teenagers continue to be employed in places not suitable for their age. SaVant Foundation will make every possible effort to remove these sorts of practices with the help of the central and state Governments. Hunger and malnutrition still pose a major challenge. A number of children are still found to be malnourished at varying degrees. Saddled with poverty, malnutrition starts a vicious cycle of ill health, lower learning capacity, and poor physical growth.

Objectives


SaVant Foundation has been created to achieve the following objectives:

  1. To eradicate poverty, provide social welfare, rehabilitation for the elderly, and increase literacy among youngsters in the Philippines.
  2. To organize micro-finance programs for alleviation of poverty and for economic upliftment of the rural and urban poor.
  3. To donate to other organizations having similar objectives.
  4. To publish journals that promote the objectives of the trust.
  5. To award Scholarships & Fellowships in cash to poor and needy students.
  6. To provide opportunities to poor scholars to be able to pursue higher education both in the Philippines and abroad.
  7. To pay tuition fees, examination fees, boarding and lodging fees of deserving students and to supply books free of cost or at concessional rates to such students.
  8. To establish and provide financial help to any institution for alleviation of human sufferings.
